Cultured, a new work by Hyo Jeong Choi, is a satirical horror play about the price of human dignity—what we agree to sell, what we agree to eat, and how we trade in our literal flesh and blood to survive in a culture where everything is a commodity.
An excerpt of the work will be part of New George's Jamboree on May 1st and 2nd at the
Center for Performance Research.
Cultured will present at the International Human Rights Festival at the 30th Street Theater in NYC on
Friday, June 5, at 7:00 PM.
